Kwido wins Aging 2.0 Global Startup Search
The mission of Aging2.0 is to select the world’s best startup focused on themes related to aging.
Kwido has been chosen as the best project by a Spanish startup at an event which exceeded the organization’s expectations in terms of the number of registered attendees. It received the award before a selected audience made up of established companies that target their products at the elderly, companies from the elderly care sector and local and international investors
In this competition, Kwido was judged by the organization as the most innovative project in Spain aimed at improving the quality of life of elderly people through new technologies, thus rewarding our innovative business model and our wide experience.
At Aging 2.0 Barcelona, the jury was made up of a select group of professionals including Stephen Johnston, co-founder of Aging2.0, Andreu Huget Llull, managing director of business development and support areas at SARquavitae, Antonio González Barros, president and founder of the Intercom Group, Josep de Martí, director of InfoResidencias o Xose Xavier Rodríguez, head of National Coordination for Call Centres at Tunstall Televida.
Thanks to this award we will be presenting Kwido to an audience of over 1,000 attendees at the international event Aging 2.0 OPTIMIZE which will take place on October 12 and 13 in San Francisco, California.
Aging2.0 is a global innovation platform focused on aging and elderly care led by a top team of professionals. Headquartered in San Francisco, California, its network of offices spreads from Australia to Brazil via Europe and Asia. Its mission is to drive innovation to improve the lives of the elderly across the world. In this context it is a great honour for Kwido to be the Spanish winner.
